POWERFUL is the creative jewel of Kevin Leo and comes after three years in the making.
He says, “This show is a chance for audiences to fall back in love with real music and storytelling.”
The tale vivaciously directed by Kevin Leo unfolds amongst a band of friends, with a shared love for music, who come together to rehearse, but amidst the jams, rhythm and lyrical flow, tensions arise as Leo’s character (Kevin Leo), is soon distracted by his girlfriend, Sarah-Jane. Through the show, the audience bears witness to miscommunication between the sexes. However, with song and dialogue feelings of love, laughter and friendship are revealed. An original soundtrack, featuring timeless songs, with a strong narrative promises to have your soul dancing to the beat.
Kevin Leo shares his talents as poet and painter to the show’s set design also.
Best described as an; art-fest, song-fest and love-nest, POWERFUL is an innovative and exhilarating stage show where both the Theatre and soulful music are exquisitely synchronized together.
